Information We Collect
Account Information
FreeBlock supports Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, and email/password authentication. Depending on the method you choose, we may receive your email address, display name, authentication provider, and a unique account identifier. Passwords are processed by our authentication provider and are not stored by FreeBlock in readable form.
Profile Information
You may provide your name, school or university, class year, and residential college or similar community information. This information may be visible to accepted friends.
Schedule Data
You may enter course or activity names, days, start and end times, locations, and visibility preferences. You control which schedule details accepted friends can see.
Social and Plan Data
We store friend requests, accepted friend connections, plan proposals, responses, cancellations, dates, times, durations, and whether a plan was confirmed as having happened.
Live Status
When you choose to broadcast that you are free, we store a temporary availability status that expires automatically or can be turned off by you.
Product Analytics and Technical Data
FreeBlock may use limited product analytics to understand whether core features are working, such as schedule setup, friend actions, overlap views, and plan actions. We do not use advertising profiles, session replay, or automatic click capture. Our infrastructure may also process limited technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as request timestamps, device or browser information, and error logs.
